September 2015. Agronomists from the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA) José Colazo, Claudia Liberman and Fernando Cattaneo visited Hanoi from September 13-19 in order to conduct the last chapter of cooperation project FO.AR 6237.
The activities, which involved the collaboration of the Argentine Embassy, were carried out in the laboratories of the Agricultural Genetics Institute (AGI) under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD).
FO.AR 6237 project, which commenced in 2013, was aimed at the capacity building for the development of molecular markers to increase the resilience of rice crops. This methodology was successfully put into practice in the Vietnamese laboratories with technical advice from the Argentine experts.
